Barley veggie tikki


One more dish prepare with Oomugi barley grains. barley veggie tikki  healthy, tasty, crispy.

preparation time----30 minutes
cooking time 15 minutes
serve 4 


 ingredients -----

  1. Barely grains 1 cup
  2. Boiled potato 1 large no.
  3. Finely chopped beans 2 tbsp
  4. Finely chopped carrot 2 tbsp
  5. Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  6. Chopped green chili 1 tbsp
  7. Cloves 2 nos
  8. Green cardamom 2 nos
  9. Bread crumbs 2 tbsp or as per required
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  12. Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  13. Oil for frying 
Method-------
  1. Soak the barley for 4 hours, then boil with 1/2 tsp salt, cloves and green cardamom. cool and wash it keep aside.
  2. Boil the beans and carrot.
  3. Grate the potato add  boiled carrot, beans, barley, salt, coriander, green chili, lemon juice, bread crumbs and salt.
  4. Make the tikki deep fry them till golden and crispy.
  5. Serve hot with green chutney.
