ingredients -----
- Barely grains 1 cup
- Boiled potato 1 large no.
- Finely chopped beans 2 tbsp
- Finely chopped carrot 2 tbsp
- Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
- Chopped green chili 1 tbsp
- Cloves 2 nos
- Green cardamom 2 nos
- Bread crumbs 2 tbsp or as per required
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Oil for frying
Method-------
- Soak the barley for 4 hours, then boil with 1/2 tsp salt, cloves and green cardamom. cool and wash it keep aside.
- Boil the beans and carrot.
- Grate the potato add boiled carrot, beans, barley, salt, coriander, green chili, lemon juice, bread crumbs and salt.
- Make the tikki deep fry them till golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
